Torrens University, a private university opened in 2013 has about 10,000 enrolled students. It has campuses in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Torrens was ranked twelfth in student satisfaction amongst all Australian universities in the 2019 Student Experience Survey.
