CDU is also known as Charles Darwin University is a dual sector university that is, offers higher education undergraduate and postgraduate degrees plus Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and covers a wide range of subjects and fields. The annual report of 2019 reveals that 206,491 students enrolled -14,847 in VET and 12,343 in higher education degrees. It is made up of 6 colleges namely; Asia Pacific College of business and law College of Education College of Engineering, IT and Environment College of Health and Human Sciences College of Indigenous Futures, Arts and Society College of Nursing and Midwifery For Vocational Education and Training it's implanted within the colleges In 1985, Menzies was established as a body corporate of the Nothern Territory Government under the Menzies Act 1985. The Act was revised in 2004 to validate the relationship with Charles Darwin University (CDU). Menzies is now a main partner of CDU and constitutes a school within the university's Institute of Advanced Studies. It has close connections with Flinders university in south Australia have many students from the northern territory including joint management of the center for Remote Health Alice Springs and the Northern Territory Medical Program which is located on campus at Casuarina CDU.
